A few posts ago, I showed you a picture of the cottage stitchery I had begun. It is now finished, but I think I got too carried away with the flowers. They sort of hit you in the face! I think I should have used a bit more soft colors and maybe not so many different ones. Oh, well, It was just something to do while watching TV. I think I will make a throw pillow out of it. Maybe I can pick out some fabric that will make it look better. If I still don't like it, I will give it to my daughter. "In your face" is right up her alley.

It looks great Lilly! I like it! If YOU feel the flowers are "in your face" maybe give the trees a very light bit of color with fabric paints or crayons... Just a thought? 8-)

I think it's lovely Lily! It's always difficult to find the right colours for these stitcheries at least that is my experience. If you don't like it maybe you can make your daughter happy with it.
